Let me introduce myself first, I'm Wickett a one and half year old Yorkshire Terrier, that is in your terms, to me I'm a teenager. Obviously, since I can form sentences! I live in a really nice crib. There is a huge backyard full of squirrels, rabbits and birds. Another big bonus is not only is my sis, Ella, here but my cousins Lily, Pixie and Corkie. Ella and Lily are young like me, only 4 or 5 in human years. Life here is off the hook! Whenever my human mom sits at her desk, I sit right on the desk beside her on a pillow, next to an open window. I get to watch the birds from the comfort of my pillow, ahhh. I just moved here a couple of months ago. My mom has been pretty sad since we came here, I don't know why it is great! I sit in her lap and give her more kisses and that makes her smile.
Today was bath day, ugh. First I had the extensive brushing, I swear mom thinks she is a surgeon the way she gets my mats out. Then it is into the sink for me and I get treats just for being in the sink and I'm still dry, score! I get cold so fast, I was shivering. The bath seemed like it took forever. It felt great after it was done though, I got to run all over the house rubbing on everything. That made my mom laugh and it makes me happy when she laughs so I wagged my tail even more. I sat through the blow drying acting like I was suffering, but it is actually quite relaxing...so warm.
The sun came out and the leashes came out. A walk, one of my favorite things. Ella and I were so excited. We stayed still long enough to let mom get the harness' on and then we were out the door. In the wide open country. I hardly ever see people out here. Although earlier today some people I didn't know came over, the man gave me a lot more attention than the lady, so I guess they were OK. I sniffed lots of squirrel holes on the walk and got to pee everywhere it was great.
I got to watch Lily get a bath later, I tried to help and calm her down as you can see from the picture! She really doesn't like baths. Afterward she really ran and played with me, it was so much fun. She is bigger and stronger being a schnauzer.

Ok, time for a nap! I got kisses from my mom when I laid my head down, glad she is my mom.
Love Wickett
